Thank you, Eve Ensler, for the Vagina Monologues and now One Billion Rising.
If you are in Saint Louis there is a flashmob to RISE UP and DANCE in solidarity with the one out of every three women in the world that have been raped and/or assaulted by men.
This is the best gift you can give ANY woman on Valentine's Day. We are 51% of the world's population. We deserve a safer, better world.
The flashmob is at the Missouri History Museum, and the dance begins at 4:30 PM.
Everyone that can participate in this should.
As part of One Billion Rising, I will be sharing my story. I hope to have it published here by tomorrow.
If you are a rape or abuse survivor, I encourage you to tell your story. The time for women to be ashamed about what men have done to us is over.
It is time to speak our truth.
