The Hindu Festival of Kumbh Mela is celebrated by washing in the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna rivers, and only every 12 years.
During the time of this festival the two rivers actually converge with a river the muggles call "mythical" and spiritual peeps recognise as something else-- something astral perhaps, or magickal or mystical.

There is a third river. And to bathe in it we don't have to be in Allahabad.
We can wash ourselves of karma from all the
past lives, and we can still celebrate the festival of Kumbh Mela in spirit
and sympathy.

protection to all those that might be lost and cold, or thirsty and
tired.

The Tutor, inadvertently he maintains, threw me into the Yamuna River when we toured Agra, India.

I shouldn't complain though, my GI tract was certainly cleansed by the third day.
Careful with what you wash though.
There were ALOT of articles about the festival that mentioned the pollution problem. I live at a big confluence, and that is true here too. I wonder if Tutor's hearing loss causes imbalance problems, perhaps causing him to accidently throw you into the river? He should look into that I think yes?
